Bentley PSU 3500/15-05-05-00 Power supply can be ordered -- AC/DC input power supply, providing a range of voltage source compatibility. Line noise filters are standard, the 3500 rack can be powered from a single power supply, or dual power supplies can provide redundancy in case power outages are not tolerated. Dual supplies reside in the upper and lower positions of most of the left rack slots. Redundant power supply can use a separate voltage source. For example, the base (bottom) provides an operational 120 volt power supply while the backup (top) provides an uninterrupted 24 volt DC power supply. Each power supply can individually supply power to the entire rack and its modules. When using redundant power supplies, one power supply serves as the primary power supply while the other serves as a backup, ready for immediate and automatic operation as the host shelf supply, without interrupting the rack function, should be the primary supply. The 3500/15 power module has a self-monitoring function, allowing it to determine that its output voltage is within the standard range. The Bently Bentley 3500/15 power module is a half-height module. The Bently Bentley 3500/15 power module (card) must be installed in the specially designed notch on the left side of the frame. The 3500 frame can be equipped with one or two power supplies (any combination of AC or DC). Any one of these sources can power the entire frame. If two power supplies are installed, each power supply can be used as a backup of the other power supply. When two power supplies are installed, the upper power supply is the main power supply and the lower power supply is the standby power supply. As long as one power supply is installed, removing or installing one power module will not affect the operation of the frame. The 3500 power supply can accept a wide range of input voltages and convert the input voltages into voltages acceptable to other 3500 modules. For the 3500 mechanical protection system, there are three power sources:

The 3500/25 modified key phase module is a half-height, 2-channel module used to provide key phase signals to the monitor module in the 3500 framework.
